Design & Sculptural Presence

Shaped by hand and fired at high temperature, the Gentle Smoke Ceramic Cigar Ashtray pairs a tactile raw clay base with layers of flowing reactive glaze. Its wide, steady cigar rest, deep ash well and reassuring weight make it both a functional cigar accessory and a sculptural object for a desk or coffee table.

  • Form & Ergonomics: A curved rest that holds standard and large ring gauge cigars securely without tipping.
  • Heat & Stain Resistance: Fired at 1200°C, fully resistant to heat and ash contact; the surface does not stain.
  • Care & Cleaning: The smooth glazed well wipes clean with a damp cloth or rinses easily under lukewarm water. Hand washing is recommended to protect the raw clay base.

*Because reactive glaze flows freely in the kiln and each piece is handmade, the tones and surface waves of every ashtray are entirely unique.
