Design Story & Sculptural Form

Inspired by the silent presence of ancient stone architecture, the Monolith Ceramic Table Lamp balances Scandinavian minimalism with the grounding simplicity of wabi-sabi. Its asymmetric, stone-like body is shaped by hand in our studio from textured high-fired stoneware. By day it stands like a small sculpture; by evening, light filters softly through the linen shade for a warm glow. Place it on a console, sideboard or nightstand, or directly on the floor as a low ambient light and statement object.

📐 Specifications & Hardware

• Dimensions & Weight: Ceramic body: width 35 cm | height 50 cm | depth 50 cm at the deepest point (asymmetric form). Linen shade: diameter 30 cm | height 20 cm. Total height with shade approx. 70 cm (27.5 in). Total weight approx. 7 kg; each handmade piece varies slightly.
• Electrical: Standard E27 socket; 150 cm cable, on/off switch and European 2-pin plug, pre-installed. Suitable for 220-240V mains. The handmade natural linen shade is included; bulb not included.
• Recommended Bulb: E27 LED, 8-12W (about 800-1100 lumens), warm white 2700K-3000K. LED is recommended with the linen shade because it runs much cooler.
• International Orders: Every order includes a plug adapter for your country (for example a UK adapter for the UK).
• Best For: Living room consoles, sideboards, large side tables, nightstands, lobbies or any spacious room that needs a sculptural accent. Also works on the floor as a low ambient lamp.
• Care: Always unplug before cleaning. Dust the ceramic body with a dry soft brush or slightly damp, lint-free cloth; no harsh chemicals and never submerge. Dust the linen shade gently.

*Each lamp is shaped and textured by hand, so its asymmetric rock lines and raw surface pores are entirely unique.

This large sculptural lamp is shaped by hand after you order. Because of slow drying, detailed finishing and two firings, it ships within an average of 10-14 business days. It travels in a wood-reinforced, shock-absorbing crate with double boxing and is fully insured; if anything is damaged in transit, we replace it free of charge.
